Lol Ideas from some randy Silver
Hello Forums, let me introduce myself, I am a silver 2 ADC main from NA. While I am not Challenger, I ask you to not disregard my ideas simply cause I am silver, instead give me your thoughts and we can talk about them. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that I learn English only a few years ago, so there may be some typos or improper grammar.

So first and foremost, as I am an
ADC main, I feel like I should start off with that. Currently, there are poor item options for marksmen which when combined with their terrible base stats in essentially everything, makes playing them hell. My proposed changes are to give a small buff to most marksmen's base magic resist and scaling health. I feel like there are solid options for armor and magic resist but it makes almost no difference since marksmen have no health nor do they have viable options to build health. This makes it not uncommon for a standard mid lane assassin or control mage having nearly double the health of a standard marksmen. The extra base magic resist is to help against strong poke supports like
brand or
zyra, riot themselves even stated that these champions are causing problems but felt like nerfing them was a bad call so buffed forbidden idol instead, a better alternative would be just to give marksmen slightly higher base magic resist. Additionally, I propose making changes to 3 items to help ADC's have better build options.
Stormrazer in its current form is good for two big reasons, it gives 70 attack damage and it gives a reliable crit source. The big problem is that the item is very bad late game and most ADC's can't afford to replace it with a zeal item because they don't give AD. I'd change it to build out of Pickaxe, Phage and Cloak of Agility, 350g (3250g Total). This new Stormrazer would give 50AD, 20% Crit Chance and have UNIQUE Passive - Rage: Basic attacks grant 20 Movement Speed for 2 seconds. if the basic attack is a crit, its increases gained movement speed to 30 and slows the target by 30. I don't know how flat slows stack with percent slows, so if this were to by some miracle be implemented, one might have to look at its interaction with frozen mallet, this would also give a crit item that gives AD and also give health options for ADC's. an alternative build path would be Phage, Brawler's glove, B.F. Sword, 325g
The new
essence reaver is a joke, the only marksmen who generally build it is Lucian and sometimes Sivir, Xayah or Kai'sa. Instead, I would recommend changing it to build out of B.F. Sword, Caulfield's Warhammer, Cloak of Agility, 200g or B.F. Sword, Caulfield's Warhammer, Brawler's glove, 600g, This new item would give 70 AD, 20% CDR, 20% crit chance and have UNIQUE Passive - Basic attacks restore 1% of missing mana, Increased to 2% of maximum mana if the basic attack crits. This is essentially a merge of the new and old essence reaver, with much more similarities to the older one.
Also, I think a change to
Sterak's gage to be purchasable by ranged champions but wouldn't give Sterak's fury and would shield for less would be cool, but that's not as important as the first two and would need a lot of testing first.
My second topic is outplay potential and more specifically
QSS and
cleanse. with riot trying to move the meta to much more damage heavy and explosive meta, similar to the season 3 meta. A major difference those is that in the season 3 meta, it was possible to outplay situations in a way that is simply not possible now. Take the
Faker vs
Ryu 1v1 for example, if that same play happened today, all of Faker's mechanical skill would have been useless since both ignite
and death mark can no longer be QSS’ed. I feel like that's a big problem right now, a lot of times it feels like there are no options when facing a fed
assassin or
bruiser because a lot of the damage is just unavoidable and you're just stuck feeling like there were no options, kinda like when a fed zed all-ins you, you flash to dodge all 3 of the q’s but the damage from his e+r+ignite (which ignite procs electrocute) is easily enough to 100-0 you, even if you’ve built plenty of armor. So what do I propose, make cleanse and
QSS do the same thing, it's very confusing for new players and is kinda clunky. Next, make the cooldown for
QSS 120 seconds and keep cleanse at 210 but make it no longer give tenacity after. Finally, make both able to remove the following, Blind, Charm, Flee, Slow, Silence, polymorph, Root, Stun, Sleep, Taunt, Drowsy, (other forms of CC I cant think off… not suppression those) Barrier, Ignite, Damage over time/Delayed Damage (
Brand Passive,
Malzahar E,
Zed ult, ect.), Displacements, Knockups, Grievous wounds and
Camille Ult. this is essentially every form of CC except suppression, any damage over time effect, debuffs and Camille's R, which is essentially a form of CC. As for Suppressions, the should be removed by a
Mercurial Scimitar and possibly an AP version of the item. I feel like these changes should help to bring outplay potential back into the game while not destroying champions who it might effect with its long cooldown.
Cool fact: I did not play in season 3 nor will I pretend as I have, this is just my view of the meta at the time and research on what was meta at the time.
My Third and final topic is quality of life changes. These will just be in point form.
Ignite and
Smite should not proc towards electrocute or dark harvest
Heal shouldn't stack with grievous wounds or other heal debuffs. (if someone has heal debuff and ignite, heal only is 36% effective)- Dark Harvest damage shouldn’t add to the execution cap of Pyke Ult
- Riot should take a look at champion and skillshot hitboxes again, they have gotten very unpredictable which is not good for the competitive integrity of the game

- All Champions should be unlocked in practice tool
