Why doesn't anyone play xerath anymore?

does it revolve with balance? or??

He's free this week and I tried him out and he seem pretty ok but kinda weak in a way.

Here's one answer:He's 100% skillshot and if he doesn't land all his skills, he winds up dead.

Yes.

I think it's more accurate to say that there are champions out there with more damage, better artillery, and more CC. Basically despite riot's attempt to make the mages different, we still run into this issue between him and a few other champions where it comes down to "whoever is best", and right now it ain't Xerath.

Its Bc there's so much mobility in the game.

He's a bit hard to play well and also struggles vs tanks but he's not in the worst of spots. In many ways, he's a better Ziggs (albeit Ziggs takes structures faster).

There was a Xerath in the last game I played.

He went 0/26/0.

Probably just a coincidence.
