ADC in low elo feels super team dependent

The support has superior early game power compared to an adc and often dictates the lane. For example a good brand can endlessly zone the adc when matched up against an enemy support of lesser skill.

Jungles have an overbearing influence on bot lane when the adc is paired with an unskilled support, even when bot is not over extended due to the adc's weak early stats. For example an ekko or lee sin can brute force tower dive bot lane 3v2 with no real punishment.

After laning, ADC's require teamfights to be productive. ADC's can't afford to be the primary target, being fundamentally about abusing range to hit enemies while they focus others. However if teammates make bad decisions such as refusing to group and are frequently overchasing, the adc has limited windows of opportunity to be effective.

I'm increasingly realizing it's best to avoid the adc role until reaching elo levels where teammates are more reliable. Similarly to how much of the community feels about playing true tanks

It's not just low ELO where ADCs are heavily team reliant - it's at all levels. There are way of mitigating that by playing ADCs who can peel for themselves.

ADCs are supposed to be a heavy team reliant role.

It's been acknowledged on these boards by ADCs of all elos recently that ADC just aren't the powerhouse they used to be. Play the role almost like a 2nd support where your role is to dps the closest targets and shred objectives.

ADC is like the one who deletes the enemys tank, and thats all, since nobody else has damage vs tanks :D I always duo with a support, so i have my back covered most of the time, he goes to help people, but were on ts3, and we always decide when he should be with me, and when not.
