there was no way we should've won this match, we had a terrible bot lane matchup and karma was very efficient at harassing us. xin wasn't ganking for us bot lane and gnar was losing top for the longest time. our malz was pretty even and didn't give anything over in the mid lane.

but somehow we grouped up, pulled it together when behind and trounced the team fights, we worked so well together.

the real reason we won was because our thresh was a god, landed hook after hook and had awesome plays, 10/10 would play with him again, he carried us so hard.

i gave honors all around.

Well if you take a look at how many games the players have played the champions they each picked, then you can see they are not really that experienced with them. That might be the case for your team too, but it's a common misconception that "higher elo players are just better". No, most players have their preferred/best performing lanes, but not all.

A Plat Jungle main could only be of the skill of a gold in mid or adc, etc.

Props to you winning it, but don't feel too intimidated about higher ranked players unless they are playing a champions they've been playing alot over and over.
