Any velcoz player out there have any opinion on his changes?

I didn't play him that often but he feels like more work and no satisfaction now and he now to me really feels like genetic set up dps. I see brand with his aoe spell passive it looks cool, i see vlad blood everywhere, zyra plant walls, malz army, everyone looks and feels cool. But i feel velcoz lost that pimple poping effect on his ult now it doesn't feel as cool to kill someone and the true damage while it will be useful at times there's no way i would pick velz vs a tanky team to want to use it in the first place so overall i feel like i have to do more work now to get the same thing done as before but with no flashy passive popping up on them.
