For years, Malzahar has been a strong champion, yet amongst the most balanced mages. He has very defined strenghts and weaknesses and his kit has the right amount of counterplay. Any kind of change could murder his identity since he is a very strong, but niche champion.

I know the mage rework is incoming, but along with Vel'Koz, please, do not try to ''fix'' what is not broken. If you want to implement new ideas into the game, do so in new champions or champions with actually problematic kits.

As a champion, Malzahar's strenghts are unique. If you want to make changes to Malzahar, research and respect his play patterns, and do NOT assume things.

Malzahar has been one of the most untouched, background champions in years, keeping his identity, strengh and niche.

I main malz and I really couldn't care less if they changed his w or his r. Sure he is in a good spot right now but I do hate how one item makes him pretty irrelevant. His w is also pretty boring although it does have uses against tanky champs.

As a Malzahar main, I have to say I actually find his ult to be the least important aspect of his kit. His W also isn't super important (although I would very much like to see Malzahar become a proper tank buster).

I'd like to see his ult still be a bit of a "fuck you" button, but they can definitely work around it to make it both more forgiving to use and offer more counter play.

He has 1 counter play, and that's Mercurial Scepter, which isn't a good item to build on any mage. He's in no way balanced when facing other mages, as his ult is literally just click to win.

Lol.. Malzahar the noob stomper Auto farm With one button from safe distance. Cast occasional silence Chunk>ult>gg When I was new that champ drove me nuts. Now that I know what I'm doing I just either pick gp into him if he's picked first, or just rush qss as a first item no matter who I'm on because it basically nullifies him But yes malz is a balanced champ, even tho noobs cry bout him
