same person playing Ryze. Relative score lines, similar times (very slightly different +/- 1 minute), total damage difference. Old runes vs Runes Reforged.

2017 Total Damage across both teams= 144,228 over 59 kills. 2,444.54 damage per kill. Damage over time (in minutes) = 5,659.69 damage per minute

2019 Total Damage across both teams= 138,406 over 56 kills. 2,471.53 damage per kill. Damage over time = 5,213.03 damage per minute

Well this is not what I expected. Can someone prove to me that damage has gotten higher? >:( I don't like this, I proved myself wrong. This feels awful.

AH HA HA HA HA HA HA AHA HA HA

That said, this isn't conclusive in the slightest, too many other variables, length of game, personal skill increase, change in the champion's kits, items, etc etc. So you are probably good.

Ehh I've been skill capped at D3 since Season 6. :| So yeah, I doubt my skill has really changed.

This season I haven't tried to get to any higher elo because its not even worth it.

Still, not conclusive, too many variables.

I mean this is as close as you might be able to get, outside of pro play. But pro play is a different monster anyway. Using Pro Play Data to judge solo queue, is never going to work out. Even within the same patch lmao.

If you can find a better set or example to pull from I will do the maths for it >:D

I don't care enough nor play enough nor keep track enough to have anything conclusive, gl in your search though, still funny as hell.

I am wondering, how many games would it require? Just asking for my life's sake.

Hundreds, if not thousands.

The blue team of the 2017 picture is considerably beefier, worth noting.

That does play a factor. And I suppose that the lane I went against also played a factor as well.

Because the first one, I was against Talon. And as you can see, he was 1/8/8. With only 10k damage.

Where as in the second one, I was against Darius (I remember this match weirdly enough). And I killed him 2 times in lane before level 5 and My Mans over there never left tower ever again. :|

So, I think that also plays a factor as well.

1 gane each is way to small of a samplesize to get any relevant conclusions. There are many possible reasons why the total damage dealt in 1 game is highr than in the other. Teamcipositions alone have a big imapct. For example: in your 2019 game, there is alot poke and little engage on both sides, which usually means alot non leathal damage that inflates the damage per kill ratio.

There are just way to many different factors to get any relvant information from just compareing 1 game in 2017 to 1 game in 2019....

You can't make conclusions based on 1 game that can be 100 variables that influence those stats.
