No, sadly not. He may be this year, but I doubt it. They're waiting to do the Diver update to do anything with Aatrox. Thankfully WW is next, and it seems Galio is up to bat. They're probably working on Aatrox atm, but it's not far enough along to announce.

Man, I really want to love Aatrox but he's so bad.

I would give anything for his update to be next instead of Warwick.

The thing is, Aatrox doesn't really need a full VGU. He really just needs some small changes and tweaks, which should be solved in the upcoming Diver Class update.

I'd say it should be quite a bit more than some small changes. His kit is sort of everywhere, and Riot keeps him weak because he's a drain tank when he's strong.

Don't forget that the "subpar supports" like Lulu and Taric are also in the same rotation.

Oh, and there's also Kass and Voli that people seem to undervalue as well.

Meddler confirmed Aatrox will get some buffs, Garen and Shen 6.24. Azir & Kalista could be after that or even at before. It all depends on how much work they have to do.
