We need more diversity in AP items

imo AP items right now revolve around burst, with the exception of ROA, and maybe Banshees and Zhonyas (if you will even consider them as bruiser items). Here are a few problems that riot need to pick up on:

We need another AS/AP Item
We need an AP Melee Item for champs like - My suggestion would be an item with around 60 AP that gives a slight bit of AS, HP, and gives a slight shield on autoattack champions (~5 second cd)

I'd like to know what others think about this. maybe this can help the state of some melee AP's with no escape and little CC.

The last thing we need is Fizz and Akali getting a shield every 5 seconds.

Nobody would build it on them because it would be priced at 3k+, meaning building it for the shield only would be inefficient because they make almost no use of the AS, and HP. It also doesnt provide them with the AP that they need

they i do think ap items need a bit of variety

i feel like all ap burst or assasin champions are all biulding the same things or similar things every single game

people will build the best /strongest items that gives them the best chances to win regardless of that item is

I agree. Too Often We see a mid laner go item 3165 item 3020 item 3157 item 3285 item 3135 item 3089

this is pretty much the build for 90% of mid laners, its pretty boring actually :/

She gets one without procing her orbs. It just double ups if she does.

ahh i havent played or seen her in so long

so why would she need a melee ap item that gives her a shield ?

and i thought a item 3100 item 3115 item 3102 item 3157 item 1402 kinda core on her jungle build ?

She doesn't need new items as they'd be abused by Akali, Fizz, and Ekko more so then her. She just needs a rework.

Usually tho you buy either LB or Nashors, depending on your play style.

Her shield still isnt enough. She has no escape, meaning if she jumps in and manages to get a kill on their carry, she'll just die as well.

I don't think we need more AP items. I think we should buff some of the AP items people don't build as often (Lich bane, Nashor's tooth, Gunblade, Protobelt, GLP, Rylai's) so they're more appealing to players. Rylai's used to be decent, but then people complained and now it's almost never used. Personally I would love to see Rylai's buffed slightly. More diversity in AP builds is good.
