Why is everyone in this echo chamber complaining about how difficult it is to land the new Q, or how clunky it is, or how its not smooth or fluid, or how it locks him in place, or how it interrupts his game play, or that they should allow him to move while up in the air to make Q easier to hit. (did i miss a complaint? yall complain ALOT!!)

For his old Q he had to wait quite a while to hit the ground Old Q's notes: Dark Flight has a 0.6 second cast time. 0.3 second wind-up, and 0.3 second wind-down. Thats a total of 1.2 sec. A total of 1.2 to not be able to do anything.

The new Q is imitating the old Q, so it's also locking him in place...

When i thought this i thought "WAIT A SEC!!!" why is everyone complaining about the new Q being clunky when the old Q was JUST AS clunky if not MORE clunky because it held u in place for LONGER!

Yall got NO right to complain about ANYTHING with the new Q since its NOT ANY worse than the Old Q, even the 1st cast has about the same range, and since thats the case he doesnt have to put him self in immediate danger on the 1st Q after locking himself in place for a short duration.

Each cast of the new Q is about 0.5 time being locked up. Adding them all up you get a total of 1.5 sec which is only 0.3 sec more time being locked up. BUT with the E u can move so ur not so locked up. And the total knock up duration for the enemy is about the same.

Main point of this post: Dont complain about something you were not complaining about before, at a minimum don't act like its worse, because it's not

Probably because they wanted the new rework to remove any "clunkiness" of his Q, not just carry it over to another ability. Although if they weren't complaining about his old Q and are now complaining about his rework Q that's kinda dumb.

Old Q's problem was just that ridiculous tiny knock-up, but nonetheless, it was still one of the best escaping ability.

Imagine if you need to either make a quick getwaway over the wall or a swift disruption, and you have to struggling going through the 1st two Q cast that has a giant gap between him & the knock-up area.
