I like how when a Youtuber says something you like, it's proof the game is dying (Scarra).
But when someone disagrees with your statement, he's obviously an idiot.
Here's the truth; we're always going to have one of two metas. These metas are aggro and control. Aggro is when everyone tries playing carry champions and going balls to the walls, and control is stall, take it late game, traditional teamcomps.
Pro teams will always, ALWAYS love their control comps. It's static. It's safe. You can build comps around it and the utility you have will always net some sort of success. It's less risky.
Aggro is something you see more in low elo, because it requires snowballing or risky play to work.
Now when I say pro teams, I don't mean pro players. A lot of pro players (particularly in the mid and jungle) love their aggro champions. They love things that showcase how good they are at map control rather than their patience and ability to stall to 3-4 items. They find this meta to be refreshing because control champions are often miles ahead of aggro champions. It's fun to not play shit like Azir and Ryze and Orianna or Sej and Zac and Skarner 24/7, and it's great to have a meta where that simply isn't the go-to.
And it's really sad because the low elo players on this board complains about a meta that is actually punishing to mistakes (which is a good thing), claims that Riot is catering to pro play (which it isn't, like I said individual pro players might like it but it's terrible for teams that rely on consistent metas and strategies), then claims anyone who says otherwise is an idiot who has no idea what he's talking about despite the person making that claim never having the experience assessing the health of games at high elo.
