Lets be seriously, Why not get rid of Ranked
As the title states, Since you guys don't plan on ever fixing the primary fixes for Ranked. why not just get rid of it?
Problems with ranked. Throw away accounts. Boosted accounts. Smurfing
These are the Three main issues you have with ranked and honestly We all know you're never going to fix them so why keep ranked open.
Throw away Accounts
These Have become a huge issue, in gold and below because it allows players to make a Account just to purposely troll and throw games left and right. Every night i play i'm dealing with one of these accounts and reported them as they join a game, then just purposely harass troll and flame other players.
Then these players literally get away scott free because who cares if the account gets banned they spent 2 dollars for it on some website and they can easily just buy another.
Boosted Accounts
This is another problem with accounts in Gold and below. Just duo queue in general allows users to boost accounts up into higher ranks that don't belong there. I don't know how many times i see a Silver account boosting some iron 1 account and the player on the iron account has no idea how to even play. Or worse Players going on line and Buying Ranks Gold and below for 20 or less dollars on some site for some ranked skins or bonus's only to try learning on said account.
Smurfing
This is just a huge issue, that leads to Every other catagory, Smurfing is one of the leading causes of Boosted and boosting accounts, that screws up your ranking system horribly bad, I don't know how many youtube videos you can look up just by typing " Watch me go from Iron to Gold!" And you get some challenger streamer Seal clubbing low elo people for views as they climb out of these ranks
Or you get some Smurfs just wasting time on a low lvl account boosting their Subscribers or friends for gifts or money. Smurfing is also bad because most people who smurf usually sell these boosted accounts later for money or use these accounts to troll players in lower elo for kicks when they are board on their mains.
A Lot of these issues are caused by your Crappy Duo queue System which makes 0 sense when its SOLO queue. Its been preached that you guys need to remove Duo queue ability and make Solo Queue Strictly a Solo queue , and Turn flexed into solo queue - 5 man Queue.
