What is up with Match making

So i have to stop playing Ranked now because i got my little yellow triangle with the Exclamation mark due to demotion protection.

But to the point of the title i'm having to do this because for awhile now it feels like the match making just took a dump.

Example my last game.. I'm sitting here gold 4, and i got 2 Silver 4's on my team, and a Silver 2 and a silver 1

Enemy team has a Gold 3. A gold 4. 2 Silver 2's and a silver 1.

needless to say my mid goes 0-5 at one point cause shes vs the gold three mid and shes one of the silver 4's and my support who is silver 4 first afk's cause he had mouse issues. Then comes back 5 min in and feeds.

and games before that have their own issues in ranked with usually the same issue of be getting Some Low ranks that either bought their account or are just trolling

I see nothing wrong here. These teams are balanced. There is no meaningful difference between a Silver 2 player and a Gold 4 player. And though there is a difference between Silver 4 and Gold 4, it is not significant enough to severely alter the balance of a match.

i have the same exact problem than you in gold, thats really the worst elo if you have low mmr

Haha trust me man, I think a lot of people can relate and its not going to get any better when your in gold 1 and plat 4.

-You'll be vsing gold 1 and 2s who duo with their silver friends. -You'll have new accounts with inflated MMRs because of a 3 game win streak and rito thinks theyre high gold + plat mmr. -Right around gold 1-plat 4 up until lower diamonds you will see strange silver and gold accounts (smurfs) with 70-80% win rates who will completely stomp your games. -During my current 5 game losing streak, players in 2 of my games have afk'd lol. -And you have the good ol' autofill that affects all ranks, but shows more significantly in the higher elos because players know how to take advantage of their enemies off role better. Especially when I am the one autofilling. I legit have a 33% win rate as support and 38% win rate as a jungler lol.

You'll probably see 1 of the scenarios above in at least 1 out 2 games and if you are lucky enough to get the better side of things, you'll probably be out of plat 4 right away if you do your job.

Aside from all of that, i have plenty of diamond friends who have their own share of problems so honestly, it'll never end. Your just going to have to accept you'll be in an endless shit show unless your an exceptional player that can 1v5 every game.

I especially love where I just hit Silver 1, and my team is 2 Silver 2s, a Silver 3 and a Bronze 1. And on the enemy team there are 2 Gold 4s, a Silver 1 a Silver 2 and a Silver 4. If the game is going to insist on using MMR, stop making it hidden, why can't we KNOW why the system thought these were good matches?

just played a game in my promos. enemy team has a g1 two g2s and two g3s. my team has two s1s one s3 and two g2s. you already know who lost....
