Remember when Ashe was the adc with no steroids built into her kit?

AND she was still good.

Can we get less of ADC getting damage, movespeed, attackspeed, attack range steroids? Or some with the combination of all of the above(Yes there is one with ALL of the above)

Guess which for bonus points!

Hint:Piltover

Update: This probably seems more like an ADC QQ thread. So, an example of healthy steroids would be Varus. Two situational steroids that take time to activate rather than immediately starting at the click of a button.

you know what i miss? Pre-rework ashe. She was a fantastic support, one that had no analogue in the game and i miss.

Fiora was a joke pre her rework though, even jax beat her early and that's just sad. And her ultimate was unreliable as hell in teamfights.

That's why I took her jungle. Did not have to worry about bad lane matchups that way. Now it's just HA poked you with Q for damage while proccing my true damage/heal on you. Take that nerd. Outplayed.

Really, they should've stuck him with a VUG and some tweaks but otherwise left his kit alone.

His new mechanic is so gimmicky and clunky it makes me puke.

She needs to auto first though, so while it's fairly reliable in lane she needs a few seconds if you catch her unprepared.

And old Ashe had problems too, she was trash at killing tanks due to lack of steroid and her slow was weak 20% something. Her lategame was far too inferior to the popular ADC's at the time, ( think we had jinx, twitch and vayne then too)

And so she got reworked, became OP as a hell. And then repeatedly nerfed. Now she has a attackspeed and slow steroid that can be activated with a few autos. She can't crit so no critting the assassins which so many people on these forums complain about.

But she still got excellent dps if no one kills her, therefore she is balanced in most people's minds.

Current ashe is played a lot more than old one if i recall. And she does everything old ashe did but better.

I don't count cc as steroids but you are right. She has to apply her passive before she gets a damage steroid and she has to attack a few times to activate her attackspeed/damage steroid.

It wasnt weak. It was 35% 15/20/25/30/35%.

the current hawkshot is mile better than her old one, but shes very sub par right now. her complete reliance on crit is... bad. It makes her feel clunky and half-baked.

...Also "ashe cant crit" is a fallacy. She can and does crit. In fact, because of how she works right now crits actually do LESS damage on her than regular attacks unless you have flurry up. Crits trade extra damage from her passive for a doubled - 40% - slow on Q.

35% slow was a pain for any slow immobile mage or tank yes, but nearly everyone else had mobility or gapclosers which let them ignore that 35% completely. If they had merc boots or swifties then even more so.

Her current passive math is something i haven't really checked in detail. I know her to be rather...underwhelming until she get's around 2 crit items (my opinion) But after that i think she works just fine?

AND she was still good.

She wasn't though, she was a subpar ADC who saw next to no play for seasons on end. The last time Ashe was a meta pick before her rework was in season 2.

ADCs without damage don't work. Pre rework Ashe was a great example of this, no matter how Riot buffed her she was utterly irreverent. That's not to say ADCs need steroids, but they need some form of damage. Pre rework Ashe didn't do the bare minimum damage for an ADC, so she was really bad.

The rework fixed a lot of Ashe's issues, and in Ashe's case it made sense for her to have a steroid rather than another form of damage since she's always been more of an AA based champion.
