So I've been playing Talon for a bit

And while I do like him, I've noticed some things that I was wondering if anyone else noticed. Note that I only played old Talon once (in ARAM, got a lucky pentakill) and I don't play assassins often. So I'm missing out on a lot of information.

  1. Talon is really good at harassing melee/low range or low harass champions. But sucks against ranged and harass heavy laners.

Now this may be because most melee midlaners are assassins right now (and are still being learned) but Talon is basically able to bully them like no tomorrow with his W and can easily get on them with his Q. It's like he's an assassin for assassins.

  1. His low MS is a pain in the ass.

He's got 335 MS now because of his new E mobility. And honestly it's pretty goddamn annoying when combined with his ult. Yes I know his ult gives movement speed, but it doesn't seem like enough to catch someone running away. I usually end up using ghostblade or ghost in his ult to keep up (I don't use flash because of his E).

  1. His passive requires him to hit both of his W and his Q, but needs an AA to proc.

This kinda annoys me because it's heavily influenced by landing both waves of your W before you can hope to proc it. I personally wish that just regular auto attacks could proc it, but idk. There might be a reason it's fully taked onto his abilities. This is why I think he's much better at harassing melee champions than ranged, because he has a better chance of hitting both waves of his W on them in my experience.

  1. His W mana cost is annoyingly high.

This is probably my issue with my playstyle. I love to cast abilities and end up spamming because of it. So I'll get into stupid situations where I don't have the mana to ult or even Q for my passive. This is more of a personal issue IMO though, so it's not that big.

  1. His passive.

Now there's only two things I don't like about his passive. I've already said the procing issue, but I haven't brought up how healing just seems to cancel the bleed effect.

Maybe I'm misreading the situation, but once my target got hit by a Soraka ult, the bleeding just stopped. I felt the effect should have continued but it's just not going to be as effective because they just got back a bunch of HP.

Idk. I might be imagining it. Personally I feel his passive should give GW on the bleed.

Overall I do like Talon a lot. His E is fun and he can really kill squishy champions quickly when played right (and dies super fast when playing wrong. Late game is pretty much all about the ult). These are just things I've noticed that kinda bothered me.

Your thoughts?

Also if it keeps showing up as 1 for each number, sorry. I'm on a phone so I have limits.

They should honestly make the Bleed just proc on third ability instead of requiring an auto after as well. And GW is a good idea.

I think it's to encourage him to AA and actually stay in melee for a second. It gives him more risk, but I'm wondering if it's too much risk.

Making his bleed proc on an AA or by his Q (so that way he can change his combo a bit) seems like a good idea.

Grievous Wounds should be on his passive though. It would really fit.

There already is a ton of time to react with how slow is W is. The only way to guarantee both hits is using it point-blank, which means anyone not stupid would just punch him in the face before the blades would even return.

Being able to W-Q for bleed should be possible, instead of W-Q-AA.

"In melee"

Yeah, it's around melee range or close to it where both W waves land. The only other time is at the edge of the W where both waves land.

The thing is, even point-blank, you can step to the side. And if you're that far away to be on the edge, you should never be hit by the first really, let alone the second.

It's kinda like how Ekko's Q return works. Weird hitbox.

This can be true yes, but once you know what you're doing you can grab a item 3814 and really screw them over after playing safe for a bit/roaming bot to snag kills, getting in their face and their reflex will be to use their hard CC on you, which won't work.

I'll admit I suck at using item actives. Gotta get better at it.

Same. Sometimes it seems like I buy item 3157 just for the armor.

I died like 3 times in a row when I was trying out Leblanc until I remembered I had hourglass...

Another time I burned hourglass and my ult as Lux because I missed the 4 key to ward twice. I 3'd first, then R'd immediately after because the first mistake got me so tilted.
