Im very sick of this "Win Bot, Win Game" meta. Its extremely irritating to go even/win lane or camp mid or top and help them win lane, all to have it not matter 1 bit because your bot lane fed. Games should not be decided because the enemy ADC (or any role for that matter) got ahead and now nullifies the efforts of the 3 players on the team. When assassins come back maybe losing bot wont be an instant loss.

I have plenty of games where i go 0-5 and still do the most damage
I have plenty of games where the enemy bot lane is 0-7 but their jungler is too good

Apocyliptic6 votesWin bot win game is pretty prevalent in the lower elos. I remember being in silver and the amount of pure rage I got over a losing bot lane (which were about 50-80% of my losses) was hard to control.

Yep. Thresh is known for being a peeler. You cant peel an olaf 2 shotting ur adc

Sightless6621 votesWhen assassins were good, a very common way of winning was to roam bot and use it to get as snowballed as possible. You'd have the asssassin creating a snowballed adc. I can't imagine that plan will change nowadys.

I go even in lane a good chunk of my games and would rather go down there to make sure the snowball doesnt happen. Even if it means my side wont win bot lane, I see it as worth as long as the enemy team wont win it either.

I've not seen this post, what I HAVE seen; is them saying that TTK's won't be increasing much. To directly quote a red "Even 0.5 seconds means alot in these situations"
Astôlfo4 votesYeah. Even 0.5 seconds extra is too much in my opinion. The main counterplay to assassins is to not let them solo-hunt you down in the first place. The fact they did that successfully while you were alone or low health or basically alone (not enough sufficient teammates/peel/etc) means that was a good decision/play on their part. And assassins are meant to be essentially the gods of surprise solo-killing. Yes, a fighter would win against an assassin in an extended trade because fighters revel in dueling whereas assassins revel in massive momentary burst. But assassins should be able to kill just about any non-tanky target near instantly if they find them alone/relatively alone or low health.
Sightless665 votesThe problem with the low burst times is that it means they don't have to find you alone or with low peel. If they have a 0.25 second burst time, they are giving their enemies an unreasinably low period to stop them from taking someone out. Peel should be a weakness for assassins and something they have to respond to, not something they primarily ignore.
Solo hunting and finding enemies who aren't covered by allies should be the method of success, as well as using high mobility to avoid incoming threats and damage. Lengthening kill times preserves that goal perfectly. They still have a guaranteed kill if you are actually alone, but need to actually deal with enemy responses if you aren't.
Don't forget that we know they are getting new mechanics and increased potential damage to make up for lower reliability.
NineTailedMystic2 votesAssassins are the mechanical outplay class, so why should they not be subject to mechanical outplay themselves? Game Knowledge (Map Awareness, Warding, CD Knowledge, etc) should not be the counter to the 'most mechanics based class'.
