Honestly This is Stupid at this Point.

Champions like: Twitch Shaco Quinn Sona

Get to stay in a state of being stupidly oppressive in Solo Queue because they aren't viable in competitive.

The worse is when they duo with someone else that makes them even more cancer aids to deal with. They pretty much get to get fed right away from 6 minutes +. The reason why? Because no one has the mental capacity to not feed them or keep tabs on them all game long. Namely Twitch, Shaco, and Quinn. It becomes extremely hard for any solo laner to keep tabs on all of them at the same time. Guess what happens if the person who was focused on them loses track of them? Right they are in your lane murdering you before you can even back up.

Meanwhile.

Champions like: Azir Ryze Kalista Ornn Galio

Get shit on because they are picked in competitive play. While in solo queue they don't even get to have an impact until after the stupidly strong solo queue champions have already got to pop off.

Meanwhile if these champions duo with someone else. They don't get to pop off until post 25 minutes. Meanwhile because everyone sees these champions in pro play. They will always be focused down and destroyed. Its honestly amazing. Which makes people more attentive to these champions.

Now Riot wants to address Azir and Ryze which is fine. But I'll be honest, I agree with OFGSaiph (If you don't know him twitch.tv/ofgsaiph former c9 analyst). It doesn't matter what you do with these champions in their current states. Because they have such strong team oriented ultimates. They will always be picked in pro play. Even if they had the WORST laning phase in the history of league. They have the ability to, use a strong jungler to nullify anything or play extremely safe with constant communications between each other.

But removing the ultimates of those two champions removes their identities.

In short, if you are a player below diamond 1. Don't even consider trying to play those champions in solo queue. They aren't worth the mental effort. Your team needs to know how to make the champion work with you. You don't have the luxary of your team knowing your champion. (I can say that is still true in plat and diamond). Have fun playing them in Casual play, as they are very fun champions when you get to do the cool stuff. But that is few and far apart.

The point of this post?

I don't know wanted to rant about how I hate Twitch in Solo Queue, because he is just a dumb concept. A champion that gets to Crit you with range outside of what you can see? That goes stealth?

Like if anything, make his ulti reduce the crit he can put out. Doubles his attack speed, but cuts his crit by 50%. (No, not the 50% from IE. I mean 250% >>> 125%. He gets double the attack speed to make up for it, but at least you don't get instantly blown up from outside of your range before you could do anything)

I don't know how I got on this tangent, this is sort of a stream of consciousness now lmao.

I hear you. Galio was FINE as a tank. Yes, the triple dorans harrass days were ugly, but other tanks were doing that shit too, and it was made unviable. Even without it, you could still trade in lane. Now you have to build 2 AP items or you don't do jack shit for damage. The only problem is, at that point why are you evn playing Galio? Jax, Irelia or even Renekton scale better with damage items because all of their damage isn't focused into one ability
