You know what I love about champions like Wukong & Vel'Koz?
They are simply champions and somewhat easy to play to play, but they are fun as hell.
I think Riot has forgotten that a champion doesn't need a super overloaded kit (Yasuo & Lee) in order for them to be enjoyable and flashy.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with having mechanically challenging champions but when literally every other champion release requires you to take a college ed course to play then that's a problem.
