I understand that Olaf might have been overnerfed. However, it is extremely silly to say that there was no reason to nerf him. Do people really forget the past that quickly? Shurelya to randuin, Press R and kill carry. He was a huge threat to anything back then.

yea thats an item issue not olaf's fault. i mean for that reason alone they nerfed and adjusted so many champions take a look at deathgrasp

after they nerfed randuim's and shurelya (who were abused by a number of champions who none got nerfs for it)

did olaf get some power back? no he got a shitty rework with the EXACT SAME ISSUE as before.

Almost any champion in the league had been in an OP state for some time. Yet after being destroyed, sooner or later most of them got few buffs here and there and ppl started to pick them again. Olaf got smashed, number of buffs didn't help him too much and then we had loooong meta with either poke comps or mobility comps where olaf felt terrible. He just doesn't fit good into any comp, he lacs identity, something that only he could do.

On the point of played champions, replace 'Olaf' with 'Zed' in that sentence and it's still pretty accurate.

On the point of Olaf's balance, he needs not a buff, not a nerf, but a REAL rework. Last one was brilliant. They took away his ball of stats and replaced it with a different ball of stats. That would have surely solved his issues.

What about Soraka ? She lost her 1) good heals 2) her mana regen ability 3) but gained a hard to master ability that deals minimal damage (yet does give back a small amount of health, hooray). Seems fair.

Old Olaf had the problem of building full hp and oneshotting and 1v5'sing. I am 100% sure new Olaf cannot do that, and that is why he was changed.

Being kited is Olaf's weakness smart ones. If Olaf manages to get on a target, he rapes them. No contest.

Olaf is very hard to play effectivly, so people cry about him having "Problems". Managing E, when to ult, attack moving around targets to juggle axes. Chaining Axes if chasing. Managing your hp in the jungle. Who can I go on. Who will try to cc me. Would saving ult so I can keep the resistances be better?

Olaf is a great champion despite the bandwagoning of this community against him.

Guess who also can get kited. Udyr. Mundo. Shyvanna. Skarner.

Guess who is picked all the time in lcs? (It appears only lcs pickrates matter to you people), mundo.

mundo has more survivability at a full build then olaf by a long shot his slow is a perma slow and much easier to hit the projectile is way faster. also the cd is shorter skarner has a FUKIN PERMA SLOW TOO on top of a surpress/dragg that sucker into my happy go merry team. udyr .... wtf dude his bear stance plus a few items and he will kite YOU. shyvana.... same as udyr she will kite you not the other way around.

Okay a slow that is constantly refreshed due to the use of a ranged ability being spammed over a period of time. :)

Also, Frozen mallet is a poplular item on Olaf, so that just helps my point.

If they win he'll get nerfed. Since Riot cares about "diversity" aka pick the champs we want or else. Remember was it worlds or an LCS game where Rammus was used then next patch. Rammus has too much early gank potential so we are nerfing him :). Yet the leave a certain visual impaired monk LeeSin untouched.

His ult is different from Ali's. Where as Ali's can soak up a bunch of CC's and break them by activating his ult, Olaf's ult does NOT break some CC's, if yasou is ulting Olaf midair, activating Olaf's ult won't just land you. It's a really weird realm between CC's immunity and breaking out of CC's. I wish Riot can clarify further on his ult

if you're full HP and you ult as mundo, you literally are killing yourself. shacos ult has high utility but you have to utilize it properly, its not like, press R and right click to enemy.

Considering I had to experience a fed Olaf in ranked last night, I can attest that there is something fucking wrong with the champion right now. Note that the person he laned against was fucking stupid, yet we were completely unable to do anything against him later on. He just walked all over us after getting fed, and not in the way a Darius walks all over you after getting fed. In the way a demi-god walks over a mortal.

Brosef, anyone that gets fed darn well SHOULD be scary.

It isn't very easy to snowball as Olaf, because it takes a pretty stupid enemy laner to do that (and keep in mind, the biggest counter to Olaf in the game is mobility, if you have it and know how to use it, he loses). And since mobility IS the meta, Olaf has a pretty hard time against it.

Now if your team comp was terrible at positioning, and had no mobility abilities, then that would be why he would be akin to a demigod.

And she only got played because they buffed the numbers on a godawful rework to a stupid degree just to get people to shut up, and now she's never going to be touched by anyone or Riot again, because like most reworks there was no intention of doing anything other than destroying the champion.
