The only counter play to Pyke is hitting him with hard CC and hoping to god you can kill him before he escapes, which he almost always does. Aside from that there's really not much you can do. Oh, and can we talk about the fact that he now has LETHALITY SCALINGS?! I mean seriously Riot, what were you guys thinking?! I've been playing since Braum's release and Pyke is by far the most overpowered fun-sucking champion I've ever witnessed in LoL. Please for the love of god rework this cancer giving, ahem, "support" already!

Umm have you tried not standing still. He is strong but saying he has no counter play is like saying Blitzcrank has no counter play.

At least Blitz can't dash over walls and execute you when you're at half health. But you know who can? Pyke Oh, not to mention Blitz is actually really frickin easy to kill.

The tank with the built in shield is easier to kill than the assassin who literally cannot build health.

Yes, because blitz has no way to escape aside from a temporary speed boost that then slows him. Back in the day, dev team decided that giving a champion both a hook and knockup and a dash/stun + invisibility and rapid health Regen... that might be a bit... overloaded :^)

I can't really cite this since I heard it a while ago but I remember some kind of video pointing out how he litterally has the W O R S T hook in the game. And obviously "Focusing" a 25/0 pyke isn't going to work out too well unless your team is made of gods (which they obviously aren't ; ^) ), or the pyke is shit. HOWEVER, that can be said for any champion that's fed. The real counterplay to Pyke and champions in general? Don't. Feed. Them.

Well , you are right , and wrong at the same time Pyke is surely overpowered and in need of nerfs however , he sure has counter play You are wrong but your point is right He has a Hook , Dash , Slow , Stealth , Aoe Stun , High MS , free Sustain , Aoe Execute that resets and does Aoe damage , and a lot of Gold for his team

The thing is , his Ult is too strong like ,His Kit is skill shots oriented , I'm fine if he hits everything , the thing is he W for ms , then E dashes to gap close , Doesn't charge his Full Q ,Just hit melee mode and slows with an auto and some autos from his adc then he Ult , he can use the same thing with ignite and still kills , that's my problem with him Which is surely BS and unfun to play against

He has some counter-play , like Zhonia his Ult , or flash it , but you can't do that always , sometimes in a fight when you flash his Ult , a teammate dies and his Ult resets and kill you

and not to forget , hitting his skill shots is way way way too rewarding , especially against carries

I don't have problems playing against him in lane , tho he can be pain in the *** when he is paired with Jhin , the main problem which makes Pyke cancerous in out side of lane when he has an item , in lane he is easy to read and it's easy to dodge his skill shots since he usually Must hit them to do something in early

You're absolutely right. I'm just frustrated because of how overloaded he is. Yes, like all champs he has counter play, but at the same time he doesn't have enough of it.

Beating Pyke is extremely easy.

Aatrox Invulnerable ult. Range outscales Pyke's escape. If the fight is in the jungle, Pyke will almost never escape Aatrox's W.

Akali Can mark and outright assassinate. From any range as long as she hit E.

Alistar Makes doing Pyke's job impossible, simply by existing. Go in..... get stunned, knocked back, up, and encounter random heals that shaft your R.

Anivia Egg passive robs his ult. Wall forces use of skills he needs to escape to either go in, or escape, meaning he can't use them appropriately.

Annie Far outstrips per second damage and makes actually fighting as Pyke impossible. Stun is long enough to actually kill him before it ends, and her E drastically reduces his ability to damage her enough to ever get to an R potential.

Bard Can 1 shot Pyke at most points of the game post lane if he wasn't ENTIRELY shut down.

Blitzcrank has a FAR more reactive pull, upfront damage, and both follow the same rules, except on on a pause and the other is instant, and longer secure range.

Linear fight nightmare for Pyke. Since Pyke moves in a lot of lines, Brand is extremely competent in stopping Pyke's E, and blowing him up before he can get away. Pyke can counter the burn, but that's not all Brand's kit.....

Braum with a competent team is a complete Pyke shut down. As long as he hits one skill, the resulting stun will be so potent Pyke will die before he can even mount a defense.

Camille Pyke can't use his kit at all, and has a barrier blowing up his initial damage Camille will win every time, unless you have teammates on your behind.

Diana Can outrange the distance Pyke can move with her Q, and the subsequent R will eliminate any distance he crossed, and 1 shot him.

Galio is almost untouchable as Pyke.

Kaisa 1 shots Pyke.

Karma Tethers and locks down Pyke so hard he sees Karma in his nightmares.

Katarina You cannot escape her Ult with W before it kills you, and E won't guarantee an escape, or even a stun, You may have 50/50 chance of surviving her.

Kayle Destroys Pyke's move speed, shreds him in 2-3 seconds, and has an ult he counters his.

Leona CC lock down.

MasterYi Usually dominates Pyke, as you cannot E him, and his Q is a death sentence, and he can outrun Pyke.

Pantheon Instantly kills Pyke ANY time he manages to get close to him.

Quinn Vision, fastest speed in the game, Blind on hit, kills in 1 E and an auto attack.

Rengar 1 shots if he has his 5 trophies.

Soraka Dominates Pyke when played correctly. E Roots, Q Heals faster than disengaged damage output, R prevents any R's from actually killing most of the game.

Taric Team ult when used correctly completely denies Pyke, and still has another stun, and heals

Tryndamere Literally can 1 shot Pyke, without even taking skill. If he has low HP, his single auto attack damage is enough to 1 shot a full HP Pyke. Ult denies ult.
