Remember auto attack oriented champion Tryndamere? Now he just E's

At 40% CDR the ability is on a 4 second CD. It is like inverse S5 Ryze where he could perma root, Trynd perma spins at 100% AP ratios. Well played Riot, I bet you didn't think of that one.

'#1: This isn't new. AP Trynd was massively popular in.. I think it was s3? Maybe s4? It was the most viability he's had since S1, and it's no surprise that his return is heralded by the exact same problems.

'#2: Trynd really wasn't dealing much damage there. Like at all; Ryze would've easily out dueled him (or at least survived) had he not been caught and hit by numerous other enemies.

He didn't do that much damage because I kind of kited him out. My issue is that his E is on a 4sec CD at 40% CDR (which is two items) plus if he crits it reduces it even more. He was able to E 3 times onto me in that fight before my W came up again.

The flipside is: He does very little actual damage.

AP Trynd, as it currently stands, isn't dangerous to champions. It's annoying as fuck (because you'll never get him off of you), but he takes long enough to kill that most champions can beat him / get to safety. He's also an obscenely strong split pusher, but pays for that by being garbage at actually fighting.

Does AP Trynd need a nerf atm? I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. But this video is not a highlight of him being problematic. At all.

He wasn't even doing that much damage, what are you complaining about here?

Oh, I guess you didn't read the title. But his E is on a 4 SECOND COOLDOWN MEANING THAT HE CAN CATCH UP TO YOU INDEFINITELY.

And this is different then AD Try how exactly?

To E as AD Trynd you have two options, either with CDR or crits reducing the downtime on E. The difference between this and AD Trynd are AP ratios. He gains 100% AP ratio on E and which then deals an insane amount of physical damage. Combine this with Q AP ratio and he just slips and slides every 4 seconds and out heals Vladamir. The champion was a joke and is even more so a joke.

Or...auto attacking as well. It also isn't even slightly hard to CDR cap as AD Try while also having 100% crit. IE, + passive is 70, so one more crit item gets you the 100% leaving you 4 slots to get CDR. Let's assume you get beserker greaves leaving you with 3, So Death's Dance and Black Cleaver and Transdence rune for another 10% for the CDR cap, a free slot still, or if you don't go that, you can have yommu in your last slot for the 40%.

Not really that insane honestly, it is only 200 flat with a 100% AP ratio, and that if for a skill you have to go in on.

He doesn't outheal Vlad, OLD AP Try did, new one, not so much.
