Healing gave me cancer

long story short we need a new version of Executioners calling MAINLY FOR GRIEVOUS WOUNDS with alright but not godly stats in the game. Something like Zeal (1100)+ Bilgewater Cutlass (1400)+ 600 = Executioners calling (3100)

30 AD 20% attack speed 15% crit chance 10% life steal 5% movement speed Unique active: Next auto attack within 4 seconds will apply Grievous wounds to the target for 3 seconds and do an extra 50% of total AD on hit. (45 second CD)

It is not intended to be over the top compared to some other AD options like phamtom dancer or bloodthirstier/BotRK but it would provide enough stats that getting it is not considered a waste in the right situation and have a limited but real way to contend with a healer on the other team for a short period of time in a fight.

Basically make it provide enough to overcome the biggest issue with old Executioners calling of not providing enough stats to make it worth considering but not too much to make it outclass other items that fill a role like it.

They should remove Grievous Wounds entirely, because it makes healing impossible to balance.

The reason that many healing effects are very strong is because they have to be effective enough not to be completely crippled when they're halved by the very common grievous wounds effect.

For example, Swain's healing is allowed to be that insane because someone can just ignite him and halve its effectiveness - it has to be balanced around both the full-strength effect and around the half-strength effect.

By removing Grievous Wounds from everything, it would mean that all healing skills could be rebalanced to fit a world without it.

The thing is that based on what you just said healing is not balanced. As such a realistic counters to crazy healing should be kept in the game.

Or they could just fix both things in one go.

that would be nice but I am trying to provide a realistic way to deal with something that Riot might not deal with until after season 6 if then.

Poor Soraka, she's not even overbearing at the moment :(

But... I got to admit, your title is funny. Because... well, you know.

The active wouldnt be possible tho since its built out of Cutlass. At least thats what I think lol. Also, why is everyone hyping Soraka now? Did some "pro" play her recently?

all a matter of how you look at it.

Remember that Wit's end gets 42 magic damage from 10 on hit physical damage on recurve bow. So long as it has a clearly defined effect I don't see an issue with a targeted 100 damage beign turned into a on next auto effect.

Still in the concept phase but something like this would potentially have a place in some games. It could be change to something like Zeal + Vampiric Scepter + long sword instead and have all of the same stats listed.

Exactly what happened.

Yeah I just read something about that too. I wonder what happened if someone picked Poppy in lcs and destroyed everything. Nerfs inc lol.

If poppy became a common LCS pick in her current state she would be nerfed.

Exactly what happened.

It is mix if TIP winning with her as well as a lot of challenger players banning her.

Basically Soraka is that major cock block at the party who just presses W every 2 seconds and heals that enemy who was near dead 4 times in 10 seconds.

We need grievous wounds on an AD item. Completely agree. The healing champions are becoming fairly overbearing. Tired of being a fed adc that can't 1v1 a Vladimir despite having heal and flash up. It's also that a lot of mid laners don't build Morello and this leaves your team entirely without grievous wounds. It's not practical to expect non-AP players to need to rely on a teammate to build the only item in the game that prevents healers from being overbearing.

Nope. Grievous wounds is toxic, lacks counterplay, and something something %max hp damage. Oh, and did I mention toxicity?

Seriously though, we could revert MFs removal of GW. I'd love that.

Soraka heals are toxic. This is jsut a way to provide some way to deal with a enemy who heals like crazy. I still don't get why Grievous wounds are considered toxic so long as they are added with some kind of limit on how much it can be used.

the thing that bugs me is this, riot hates healer champs and we only have like 5 that can heal others directly. But, we have a loads of champs that have self heal and even more that are designed around items that allow them to heal/enhance said heals. Yet, for some reason the one mechanic meant to counter all of this is systemically removed from the game. The only champ left with grievous wound in their kit is Varus , the only item that can is item 3165 and one summoners spell summoner 14 . With the juggernaut item changes we really need anti heal mechanics bad.

Riot is always talking about non binary counter play but the only thing they are leaving us to counter health and extreme regen is true damage, item 3165 , and summoner 14 . Which is not only restrictive to play build choice but only keeps from being binary by the thinnest of semantic margins. We need Executioners calling back in some form, and we have for a long time. We need more forms to counter sustain champs and builds.
