He out dmged everyone. I went very tanky and he just shreds me like I got no armor. His Q dodging tower shots and resetting, dealing a hell of a lot of damage while being untargettable.

He dealt 20k damage 5k of which was true damage. 25% of the damage of a hyper carry is true damage and that isn't broken? 24 minute game.

175k total damage dealt, second to that was Garen with 85k. Why is he dealing so much damage to both champions and to non champions. He took 2 towers down by 10 min..... Snowballing bullshit is what that is.

So 25% of his damage being true damage is okay? How do you say I counter that 20 mins in game? I mean I didn't do too bad, I tried. But Kat fed him really hard early. In where lay the counter play?

CC. The ultimate counter to master yi is cc. Hard cc. You lock him down and kill him. Yi is far from broken my friend. If he gets fed he is a pentakill machine but if you cc him the second he goes into a teamfight you can blow him up. Master yi is a low elo god because people dont take the time to think about what stops him and dont know how to counterplay him

Its not that I don't know how to counter play him. Just that we didn't have CC to insta lock him. The best CC was Pant's stun, but I cant control how he uses it. And my ult, but he literally gets knocked up for half a second then Qs. Kind of hard to deal with with the comp we have, do you get what I mean?

I understand what you mean. If your comp lacks cc than yi is gonna have a much easier time. Dealing with champs like yi just requires teamwork..which people in low elo dont have lel

Probably lethality meme items considering wukong can get the duskblade proc off consistently with decoy. Maybe a cleaver. The point is anything you could have possibly built would have been better suited for fighting a master yi than a thornmail. Attack speed slows and raw armor do very little once he gets rolling.

Overall the build is a pretty moot point since master yi is defeated by just a basic understanding of the game. We're talking about a hero that cannot teamfight here.

Came on here to see what other people think... "just cc him" is always what the idiots have to say. You do realize he has 4 team mates that need to be cc'd too, right? But doesn't even matter. I was 6/1 on Rene while he was 1/2 and he destroyed me and TF 1v2 without trouble. Later in the game we tossed every cc we had on him. He was so tanky with his health items that we barely got him down to 50% (and no, we weren't short on items) and afterwards he just went around killing everyone. Where exactly does "basic understanding of the game" come in handy here?

it's 2017 and some people are still crying abt master yi , cc him he dies , take a descent bruiser (with a descent build) you can duel him , don't feed a yi don't ever feed a yi or any other champ , he has true damage on E but don't forget it's not a perma dmg stat it lasts for a couple seconds then he looses it and some of his extra ad , did i mention hard CC , and did i mention NOT TO FEED A YI , it's 2017 man , you better bitch abt riven or any other broken champ not yi , that is not even played in competitive or high elo games , he is aglasscanon depending on people like you to feed him so he can be a champ
