Riot saw some stupid youtube video of some idiot stacking saplings in a bush and in their infinite genius thought to themselves, hey, that looks fun, lets just make maokai that.

I wonder how riot devs get paid, because any amount really is too much.

He will be doing 8% base damage on his E, instead of 4 % now.

Because everything else he was designed to do is bad, other champions do his role better.

It's probably people playing him support who couldn't play a normal support to save their life, so instead they just take damage dealers bot.

This I have witnessed first hand, glad he was the support on my team, did most dmg in the game too...LULZ

PBE isnt for gameplay balance its to live demo test things and give youtubers money which in turn gives riot money.

rememeber release bard? 30-40 winrate across all roles?

i regularly saw 15-0 bards on pbe

PBE doesn't have an equal playing field when it comes to player skill. so using it to test balance is just stupid.
