I'm happy knowing that the Ziggs is trash and built CDR boots.

Meanwhile Ziggs with Lucidity boots has a higher winrate than Sorcerer shoes. 40% CDR on a waveclear/seige/anti-seige mage tends to help.

Why would you build both, when you can achieve the same thing with less total gold spent, while using that slot for a higher damage item, like
for example? Which both helps his burst AND additional waveclear.

I'm not sad at all, because I play top and even Ziggs can't stop my tower dive if my bot lane is there to follow me up. Nothing follows up a TP gank to bot better than a drag+mid tower combo.

If you can teamfight/gank bot, do dragon, and still have enough health to dive a Ziggs defended tower I think the game was already lost by bot lane.

If your Leona has both of those items with no armor in the bot lane by the time Ziggs finishes 40% cdr I'd be very angry that bot failed that horrifically, but yes, that's quite scary dive potential vs an AP mid.
maybe as her third and fourth item... XD

So by the time Ziggs has a void staff and MAYBE a Liandry's if the situation called for it. XD
My body is not ready for this.
Fun fact: Very good Leona's (or supports in general) don't NEED high armor values to get the job done in lane. After laning phase, you most definitely WILL need armor, though.
Because of that, I would actually dare to go for
for maximum dive potential.
CDR Ziggs/Xerath are the most infuriating champs to play against. If they have a functional brain it is almost impossible to kill them unless your team is insanely fed from the rest of the map.

Exactly. They can stall out a game to their heart's content as long as the enemy team isn't immensely snowballing.
Whenever I see a Xerath, Anivia or Ziggs on my team and we're behind, I don't surrender. They can easily stall to late game where anything can happen. On the other hand, I've played against them and its very hard to snowball a lead against them through pushing - the only way is to take side lanes then establish full vision domination over their jungle and slowly take objectives and their jungle camps to starve them out.

Yup. It's almost to the point if I see one of those champions and my team doesn't have heavy dive or waveclear I'll just dodge. Those games are just too painful to subject yourself to.
I'm not sad at all. Ziggs just doesn't scare me in the current patch.

He's not scary in the sense of kill potential, but he's very scary in how long he can stall out a game if needed. The athene buff combined with his mana cost buff was very effective.
