What is it like 20 second cooldown that can block sejuanis 130 second ult?

The ability to completely negate an adc from fighting while their team is getting eaten?

Look at how yasuo windwalls me and completely removes me from helping my team.

You have 2 choices when yasuo windwalls

  1. Run around it but that means you just wasted time while your teams getting destroyed
  2. Go past it and risk getting melee range of a fighter who will melt you in 2 seconds flat.

You can say what you want yasuo mains. Nobody likes you guys.

Adcs are already the least impactful role atm thats why jhin ashe and sivir are so popular. They bring so much Utility that they actually impact more than others. We dont really see damage carries anymore like Twitch or draven for that reason. Utility and CC wins fights.

But yasuo shouldnt have a skill like this that wide that completely nullifys people from entering a fight. How do you play ziggs against yasuo? I cant even imagine trying to cs but he gets a nado E-E-E-EQ knockup and E away for free.

I see a problem with this clip.

Knowing the enemy team had a yasuo, and knowing he has his windwall, why the hell did your team decide to have a team fight in an incredibly narrow passage that would allow him to completely wall you off? Why didn't you use your flash to reposition yourself?

Do you want anivia and taliyah to be nerfed too? because they can actually block you off from your team. Do you want braum to be nerfed? Because he can block projectiles as well.

Yasuo's windwall doesn't have a lack of counterplay. You willingly let his windwall do exactly what it's meant to do, you willingly didn't play around it. It would be like saying there's no counterplay to cassiopeia because you stood in her miasma and got E'd down. Or there's no counterplay to teemo shrooms or to rengar ult, because you didn't buy a pink ward or red trinket.

There are plenty of things that would have completely fucking wrecked your team for fighting there, and there are things you could have done even in that situation to have made his windwall completely useless. All this clip tells me is you don't know how to play against yasuo, not that there's a problem with yasuo's abilities.

I told you how to play around it.

Don't team fight in small corridors like that where you know he'll be able to wall you off. If the enemy team has Annie, would you group up there so she could land a 5 man ult and 1 shot your whole team? If the enemy team has MissFortune would you group up there so she could bullet time your entire team down?

Or use the flash that you brought with you that wasn't on cooldown to reposition yourself to get back into the fight.

If you replaced yasuo with annie, Tibbers wouldve only hit one person and that person wouldnt be me. Also her bear would give me an extra richochet.

If we replaced yasuo with the miss fortune, The MF wouldve died long time ago for being in the front line. MF wouldnt have landed a good ult because she wouldnt be in position to do so.

Would you fight in the jungle when the enemy team has a vayne? or a twitch? same thing applies here. And looking at that fight, annie would have landed a 3 person ult after malph ulted. mf would have landed a 3 person ult after malph ulted. Keep talking I love your salty statements XD

Actually he does bring up a good point. To properly look at a skill you have to look at it in both favorable and unfavorable situations. The situation shown in the video was one favorable to the Yasuo both because of the location and because Yasuo's team is the one that engaged, giving no time to bait out the wind wall.

If the other team had engaged, on the other hand, the wind wall could have been played around. They have enough CC to lock the enemy front line down and buy time until the wind wall dies. You could also just back off and try to bait the other team forward, only to turn on them shortly after. There are ways to play around it, and you can't accurately judge if there are enough of them if you only look at situations favorable to Yasuo and his wall.

  • Or just using your abilities when it's down?

Azirs ''wall'' is an ult and it doesnt block projectiles

Anivias wall doesnt block projectiles. Also anivia uses the wall to run away or close in someone. Yasuo uses the windwall to block anything he wants for his whole team.

Taliyahs wall is an Ult with a 180 second cooldown at level 1. Yasuos windwall is a 25 second cooldown.

Keep trying to compare apples to oranges.

Which, yeah, that's legitimate counterplay to a skill. There are other champions that have skills just like that. No, none of their terrain will block projectiles, but they will block off entire champions.

Because that post has no relevence when one fucking skill is a 180 second cooldown and the other is 25 seconds.

Yes, I was pretty blatantly sarcastically saying her ult has no counterplay, because you were pretending yasuo's windwall has no counterplay. Then I said that it actually does have counterplay, much like yasuo's windwall.

You are complaining about losing a teamfight in a bad spot, with your team scattered around, while the enemy team has over 3 times more kills than yours, with two waves of super minions are in your base and with you taking the longest possible route to the actual fight instead of turning back on them, the moment Yasuo went for your tank.

Not to mention Yasuo won the lane in champion select and I'm 100% sure, your jungler did shit about it.

You were meant to lose that teamfight, whenever Yasuo was there or not.

Shouldn't the opinion of Yasuo mains be what you're after? They know Yasuo the best out of everyone, and so they know exactly what works well against them. They literally have to face it first hand when playing against knowledgeable opponents.

We could just give it the Braum treatment. It blocks ONE projectile entirely, then reduces the damage of all other projectiles to pass through, but DOES NOT STOP THEM. [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

Slowing the projectiles would be some pretty fancy, difficult coding in the case of things like autoattacks and non-skillshot abilities, so if they DID go that route, I see it functioning as a 'Block X abilities or attacks before breaking' or as I said, only fully destroying one, and reducing the damage of the rest.

Personally, I'd prefer to see it like Braum's shield. It would make sense, and I like that sort of utility it brings to a fight, without fully tipping it in the favor of one team or the other.
