I type in the lobby "we need to play as 5" and "as 5" is censored. Even "a$ 5" is censored. Just how braindead was the person designing this for a team game? Is there a way to disable this stupid shit? Censorship never helped anyone. You already know what people mean 90% of the time anyway. Not seeing some profanity doesn't do anything and the filter gets in the way for valid discussion.
Mysticman892 votesChat filter is something that can be disabled in options somewhere if you wish.
Digital Daddy2 votesThere was this one glitch where "What" was restricted LOL btw as 5 is restricted cause it looks like ass
Quepha1 votesass lul
TryAndKickMe1 votesThere are a number of ways to put "as 5" without literally using "as 5'. Ya know, "fight as a team" "wait for team" etc etc. No need to get ragey about a filter than can be turned off AND worked around.

Why would a chat filter be so stupid that you have to work around common language for totally normal things? And why is "ass" a "bad" word anyway? This is some real PC Nazi BS.
TryAndKickMe1 votes"Ass" is a bad word due to social stigmas. Which neither of us can do anything about. Not to mention it comes down to ESRB ratings, which probably has the word blacklisted as offensive, also something we can do nothing about.
Calling a filter like the one League uses stupid shows your experience with filters is rather limited, I've ran in to a number of filters that keep you from typing almost anything due to censoring phrases and shorthand that is considered offensive in other languages. "FDP" being a prime example. (Portuguese if you want to look into it).
The filter is fine and can be shut off. I've played this game for an extremely long time and I've met maybe 20 people who keep the filter on. So just work around it or turn it off. If people start cursing at you or raging etc etc there also is the mute button.
