Some thought about on-hit effects
Hey all. I just got this idea coming through my head about on-hit effects (both the ones on a single aa like
, and the others like
)
What if instead of applying the damage all at once, each auto-attack would proc the next item in your inventory ?
Let's say you're
Your inventory is like this
(hypothetical build, I know Zed doesn't build like this, don't downvote just because you saw this here)
You R someone, you AA the person, your AA procs
, you AA again, your second AA will proc
, your third AA will proc
Not worth to have another item using an on-hit effect on an assassin right ? Wouldn't it actually prevent this assassin from buying
and bursting someone with a single AA ? It also goes for

Now second instance :
You're
Your inventory is as such
(Once again, I know this probably isn't a proper Kog'maw build, just shh and keep following)
You have 2.50 attack speed, and your AA will proc in order :
1st AA :
2nd AA :
(but life-steal is still applied to others AA)
3rd AA :
4th AA :
5th AA :
6th AA :
Etc...
Mentionning that
items wouldn't be counted towards this "mechanic". With
, it would simply trigger 2 effects at once. Mentionning that obviously, the stats from the items will still count, and
would still stack upon each auto.
Would it actually solve the issue about on-hit build being impossible to itemize against, and allowing these champions to be meta again without breaking it ? This way, a single AA wouldn't : > Burst insane damage from 500 effects stacked in a single auto > Deal way too much damage, shredding tanks, but also squishies because of a lot of effects stacked in the AA, dealing physical, magical and %hp with each auto-attack.
Thoughts on that one ?
