Ezreal is in half my games
For the sake of diversity is there something to be done riot? I mean. even lucian isn't this annoying. at least hes easy to assassinate. i mean hes so fucking hard to kill. so fucking hard.

jhin is in all of my games.
Not that you can't assassinate him, it's that he's ridiculously easy to poke with safely. Irrelevant mana cost, great range, tiny CD, on hit effects. You pay virtually nothing for the impact you make if you land the shot. He's appealing because "I can pick Ez and just sit back and Q".

yeah and tanks can ignore him and every adc can outduel him and his burst burns up his mobility spell. also no waveclear.
It's not about his ability to shred tanks like Vayne or Kog, or his ability to outduel like...Vayne or Draven. He brings a different type of play, however it's one that attracts new players due to the safety and simplicity of his basic function as an ADC. He naturally synergizes hard with a build that incorporates kiting potential into his kit, i.e IBG slow/possible bork slow.
No one's saying he's overpowered. We're just saying we see so many Ez because he's very easy to pick up and do relatively well with at a low ELO. Not talking high elo Ez mechanics and skill ceiling, we're talking low ELO, IBG-Q-Q-Q-Q Ez that, whether works or not, doesn't change the fact that his main damage output/poke is so simple and good. Low mana, low CD, high damage, on hit, crit? (I don't know if Q benefits off of crit, I don't believe it does.)
He's just a great ADC to pick up. Not OP, not broken, but simply easy to pick up and safe.

not sure what to think of your opinion, but seeing that you don't know whether ez q can crit or not is a clear indicator to me that you never or virtually never played the champion and can't judge how easy or hard to play he actually is.
Do I have to be a politician to tell you our candidates suck?
I play against ezreal. I've played as ezreal. I've played with ezreal. Whether I know what exactly his Q applies is irrelevant to the fact that through observation and simple logic of champion design, I can opinionate ezreal. You don't have to consider it. You're not challenger so I don't consider anything you say about balance to be relevant. It's the same logic really. What's important is that Ezreal is a great ADC, if not one of the general best, and really hasn't fallen from power for a long time and a lot of that is due to his ease of picking up.

Gonna 'love it' when Manamune gets tweaked to get rid of stagnate build designs like Ezzie's cookie cutter Manamune+Iceborn Gauntlet niche build of poke down. Course i pretty much also say that to plenty of champions who get global power house mechanics (Jinx, Ashe, Ezreal and Draven being part of the global snipe roster) on top of the ability to be become overpowered on the snowball level soon as one stat is left uncheck, especially with how Flat Armor penetration ruined plenty of match ups in the early game because of its ez mode snowball on champions like Draven.
My gripe currently is the high presence count i am seeing on Miss Fortune to the point where i could demand my team to ban her, and she shows up still if they ignore me. Literally had the same thing occur where she snowballed by team's bot lane while im doing fine on denying CS in mid lane against a veigar while i was Vladimir then i end up with enemy champions in the top and bot lane easily showing up because both first towers on top and bottom are already dead extremely early in the game.
Plus this is regardless if she builds the 'now meta standard flat armor penetration build on marksmen', she can maul hard with standard damage building and she just plain carries a match too easily thanks to flat armor penetration. It makes me wish the pre'season update would come much sooner then november 11th due to things like this.

I find a match where both teams can go back and forth a few times enjoyable, not when most of them are just plain snowball early on and its impossible to make a 'significant recovery' that technically only lasts for about 3 minutes before the enemy team is back and already resuming the snowball again.
ez is easy to assassinate too... if you play actual assassins lol
