Ascension Movement Problems

Is anybody else having trouble moving in the new game mode? My ping is the same as it's always been, but I practically have to click a thousand times before I start moving at all. I even turned down the graphics settings and nothing changed. Is it just my mouse, or are others experiencing similar problems?

i've played a couple of games so far and yes, this happened to me too! do you experience this during all the game or just short periods? (for me, short.) plus, the map makes my cursor disappear like in Dominion (problem since summer of 2013).
