What if there was no gold/exp for kills and objectives? Temporary buffs instead.
Riot likes healthy snowballing so here's a concept I thought of. I think snowballing from pure gold and experience is not very healthy which has lead to a lot of adjustments and complicated systems. The reason it's not healthy is, killing a champion inherently creates advantages even without having a gold/exp bounty. You deny them CS and you open up objectives for your team. The problem with this is that with the kill bounty on top of the advantages, a game can snowball pretty fast.
So what if kills and assists gave you a temporary buff instead of gold and exp? You get to be stronger for a duration which works like a temporary snowball. The difference is that you have to press the advantage while you have it, instead of carefully building up a permanent advantage. You can still build a permanent advantage by building up a lead on CS of course. Also, dying would remove some of, or all of, the buff stacks.
