Lol this. Especially now that cait is popular. Had a teammate first pick vayne and got hard countered by cait and blitz. She ended up going 0-5 in lane and 40 Cs down while blitz just roamed and murdered the rest of the lanes with their jungle in 3v1 gangbangs

Lucian may have the upper hand but it isn't impossible for Vayne. You have just played with bad vaynes.

Vayne should not be trading with Lucian assuming Lucian has a bf sword and Vayne has her vamp scepter or bf sword.

IT DEPENDS ON THE SUPPORT. If Lucian is trying to trade while Janna shield is up, then it's not going to workout for Lucian, and vice versa

Straight 1v1 Lucian will probably win but it is not definite. Any condemn and ult tumble displacement will really mess up the culling. Also condemn flash might abuse position mistakes.

I do not fully agree with the elitist argument that rank = skill level, but that is a valid argument that I do not even know a fragment of game knowledge in lane just because I choose to not play ranked. Alright you win the internet

What is right is right doesn't matter what skill he says it at.

Although, he forgot to factor in Lucian's summoners or using bush advantage Vayne mis-kiting or something like that. There are an infinite reasons to how that situation can go wrong. However that doesn't give you the right to shame him because he has little to no playing experience at high elo. As you and I know, sometimes our teammates are like silver players.

That is true for literally everything. The problem is when you can't dodge it. Why do people always assume that all enemies are brain dead and will always fall for the same pattern? Seriously, what about the support? They are not going to just sit right there and let you dodge Lucian ability, false tumble always happen and Vayne was design to be weak in laning phase to begin with. There are more factor of everything in this game, even minion wave can cause problems. Stop assuming that everything will be work out as planned, respect your enemy a little bit more. Nobody is going to just throw out an ability that can be telegraph, people use it with an edge over positioning all the time and if you think that one mechanic will negate everything... it won't.

I hope you don't mean to not pick Vayne into Lucian at all, though. With a really good amount of intelligence and the right know-how, you can definitely lane against Lucian as Vayne.

Just don't try to trade against him until you get your first couple of items, or until you can all-in and cheese a play.

She can trade vs. him but it has to be the right situation, if she loses lane, she's one of those ADCs that exponentially get worse, she's not an Ez who can avoid grabs and extend his range with Q to CS.
