3 indirect buffs from Hourglass, Mana regen, and Qss nerfs along with AP items getting nerfs as well there will be no stopping this champion.

Cheaper ,but ap will be nerfed to 70 and active cd increased from 90 to 120s ,wich is huge ,huge nerf.10% cdr compared to ap nerf and active cd nerf is usless.

You don't typically get it as a first item for the AP it gives you though. As far as the 120 second go it's in line perfectly with Zed's level 6 ultimate so that won't really matter until he gets CDR which laning should be over by then.

uhm.. arent they revamping 4 different mages in the same patch? Riot should know people are going to complain about zed, they will do something, i guarantee it

Yea but they will take their sweet time watching how these "changes" will plan out. Then when they see Zed is being even more broken OP, they will just give him a love tap like they've been doing the past two years. Won't change a thing to him because he's their LC$BIGPLAYS teacher's pet.

The only one I semi agree on is the QSS nerf, definitely disagree on the rest however. Zhonyas will be cheaper thus letting you rush it earlier while still getting the much needed CDR.

Mage items are definitely not getting nerfed if anything they're getting a pretty nice buff along with added utility and flexibility in build paths to counter someone like zed.

Mages are getting buffs?! How are they getting buffs when their AP is decreased, mana regen is taken out, our defensive active on Zhonya CD being increased, all in the name of "buffs"?!

They are not. They are straight nerfs. We didn't ask for our Zhonya's to be butchered and given a mere 10%CDR as compensation. Sure it's cheaper but not a item people will want to rush now. If they do, it will** possibly** save them. Then when they get back to lane, Zed can just boop ult them again and actually kill them. We didn't ask for mana regen to be scrapped. We didn't ask for these changes.

These are not buffs at all. Anyone who thinks so...needs to get their heads checked.

My morello completely disagrees with your AP nerfs. My hextech free flash into Annie tibbers also doesn't agree with you. Having an extra CDR item to not be forced to take CDR runes constantly further disagrees with you. Do I really need to go on? Zhonyas should have never been a big AP item - it was meant as a utility item.

Morello's is like the only one that has the AP increased. And actually, it was going to be decreased until Riot saw all the complaints.

The protobelt probably won't be built on all AP mages.

I never use CDR runes, and never took much CDR to begin with. Argue about it all you want, but it's my preference. I liked Zhonya's for the big AP and the defensive stats. I don't need this crappy "utility" version of it, and I'm sure many others agree.

I doubt it. Look at the Mage Updates.

Zed gets countered by: Vladimir Malzahar Annie Cassiopeia All will be picked a lot during 6.9. I really doubt Zed will thrive, at least not in 6.9.

I don't particularly see Zed as having any more presence than he does right now. Sure, itemization is changing, but overall, I don't see any changes that will for sure guarantee him any clear advantages over opponents.
