Counterpicking or Teamcomp

How I prioritize:

1. Pick a champion I'm experienced with
2. Pick a champion which fits our team composition
3. Pick a champion which takes advantage of weaknesses in the enemy's team composition

Counterpicking for laning, team comp for mid-late game.

Teamcomp. Even if you pick your enemy's counters, that doesn't mean they can still be a better player and beat you.

Sometimes neither matters, you can have the wackiest team comp ever while having to lane against counters, but if everyone's good at their champion and communicates you can still stomp just as hard.

Basically, don't shoehorn your team's win-conditions or counterpick yourself too badly and you're golden.

Playing a champions you're extremely familiar with is better than any other option, tbh; regardless of counters or team comp.

counterpicking. you must first think of winning lane before winning the game. if you don't win your lane you will have to depend on your team to carry or enemy to make mistakes. which in low elo works but prob not in higher elo as they know how to push advantage unlike us morons
