Similar to Doran's blade, what if the doran's ring owner gets mana PER HIT, and not per kill? What do you think?

dorans ring is the strongest starting item. i see more people with double triple dorans and i dont see anything else bought more than twice. for shield its UP. and blade is just ok

why don't we just make Doran's shield block 10 damage melee and 15 from ranged auto attacks instead?

Doran's Ring is the strongest Doran item in the game. It is a must first buy for all mages. Doran's blade is also really good because of the lifesteal which scales really well.

Doran's Ring will probably be purchased more often due to most mana regen being removed from items.
