Remove Keystones

Let's face it, most people hate runes reforged. The clunkiness of the stats you get from your rune tree choices feels bad, the keystones are either brokenly overpowered (DH, Conq), feel terrible to play against (Electrocute), or are just plain useless (Lethal Tempo).

Keystones have become more important than the champions, as now most champions just feel like conduits to abuse keystones as effectively as possible. I understand that this is what would be referred to as a champion being "meta," but at least in the past when a champion was meta they were just taking advantage of a broken item. With Keystones it feels more like I'm not playing a champion, I'm playing a keystone.

This feels even worse when you need a keystone to make your champ viable but don't care about the stat that comes with that rune tree, i.e. Darius doesn't really care about the attack speed buff from going Precision, but Conqueror is the only truly viable keystone he has. Riot is changing this in preseason, so credit where credit's due, that's a great change that will obviously make some things better, but still doesn't address the root issue of keystones doing too much.

The secondary runes you can take are much more akin to what old masteries did: enable you to either buff some of your champ's weaknesses slightly or buff some of your champ's strengths slightly. They don't have any gamebreaking qualities, and they let you still play your champion in its own unique way without pigeon-holing you into one playstyle.

I know that Riot won't see this and even if they do they won't care, but I just need to get that out. This game has been too great for too long and I hate to see it devolving into the sweaty button-mashing fiesta of who can proc Electrocute faster, who gets the most broken-ness from Conqueror (it's a Rageblade Yi), or who can pop off and get multiple DH-empowered attacks in a teamfight.
