Title. Why do we need them? 5 bans a team seems like a step in the wrong direction.
Edit: this is a response to the many threads i see saying "Such and such a champion needs reworks, otherwise they will be perma banned, especially with the 5ban system coming up." Maybe, instead of that, we get rid of all bans. Seems like a more fair solution.

If a champ is going to get perma-banned, that somehow means there is a problem in the community and that they don't need bans AT ALL, and not the problem of the champ in question?
There used to be 4 and 6 bans for 40 or so champs you know, we have nearly 140 champs now, there is no way having 10 bans is "a step in the wrong direction." Bans exist to promote strategic diversity, there is nothing wrong with it. If a champ is actually perma-banned, the problem is in the champ, not the mere notion of ban.

Navarune1 votesYasuo's woes are well documented here, so I won't dive into those, but for Blitzcrank there are other issues as well.
He's a one-trick pony. This means that if he misses his grab, then there's really nothing else he can do and he's a wasted slot on the team.
Win lane - Lose game. This ties directly to his OTP status; even if he wins his lane hard, late game he is useful only in getting picks. No team utility, no way to contribute to objectives, and nothing to offer in terms of comeback power.
Potential abuse case. Not unlike certain other champions, Blitzcrank has some potential for griefing your own team (stealing buffs, pulling enemy tank onto your carry, etc.). However, unlike other champions such as Bard, there exists problems 1 and 2 in conjunction with this problem.
Bans are not strictly for removing a champion you don't want to face; they are similarly useful for champions you don't want on your team.

Why? That completely points to the notion that nobody on god's green earth wants to deal with them despite them not being OP, and is pointing straight to reworks or at least some kind of change so that their gameplay wouldn't be so frustrating on their opponents they just ban the dudes out for no good reason when there are bigger fish to fry.
