But man oh man can they not wait to reach the end game screen and mock your damage done, farm, KDA, etc if you played safe.

Seriously. People need to make up their mind. So here was the scenario, playing Riven top lane, enemy picks Vayne top.

The thing is, due to condemn and tumble I really cannot trade with her at any point without taking a lot more damage than I deal. She has range and can just right click me away from the minion wave. I played super safe, I nicely informed the jungler that Vayne shouldn't be allowed to free farm. Vayne ended up going 2/10/1 and I ended up going 6/2/4 despite being behind in farm and completely outmatched by both champion selection and player skill. I felt I was doing the right thing playing safe and we won the game.

Meanwhile all game our support... "?" Ping "?" Ping "?" Ping "?" Ping "?" Ping "?" Ping "?" Ping "?" Ping Along with the usual toxic chat about being useless and CS etc. Then the moment we win the game? "LOL Riven did Least damage! wtf?"

This is absurd behavior. I almost feel like I should have gone maximum aggro and just gone 2/11/0 or something. But no I thought I was playing well because I was playing safe, not feeding Vayne, communicating my strategies and asking for help. As if carries will always just do most damage or something.

Moral of the story? Damage done, KDA and Farm from a single game cannot alone determine how well somebody is playing. A farm jungler will never compete with a laner for damage done unless the game is really long. A lane matchup where one has more harass than the other means you will have low damage done and likely lower farm. Some of my best games are low damage and low KDA. If you hate those "Yasuo's who ruin every game by going 0/12/1" don't be in a fucking rush to be toxic to somebody FOR being PASSIVE!

The real problem here is picks like Vayne top completely invalidating your champion for most of the game and preventing you from actually playing the lane.

No she left herself fairly open for ganks. Ivern went mid about 6 times instead. I mean he did well tho and pretty much carried so no complaints.

well good job anyways, I've demolished so many people as vayne top cause i'm your average toxic vayne main, and then they start complaining vaynes op, even though they went all in instead of ganking my lane, or playing it safe. Kudos to you man

A lot of people don't even know to build defensive when you are behind. Bot lane Marksmen might be the only ones excluded.

item 3153 item 3071 item 3046 are a pretty safe build most adcs can do if they actually are falling too far behind. gives bulk, sustain, and still plenty of damage while not being as expensive as some other big ticket adc items.

Only works after level 6, with correct combo'ing, and if Vayne doesn't get tanky.

Also doesn't work if she Condemns early, but then you just wait and go again once ur q is up again.

Well she won't be able to bully you that hard before 6 because of your e. If vayne builds tanky riven will still 1 shot combo her.

Yeah the lane's winnable but if you don't respect her range you'll still be bullied outta lane even with your E.

If Vayne builds tanky, you won't oneshot her (trust me I play Riven), and she miiiight be able to kite you out with her E and Q's.

Yup and all you need to do is survive vaynes q auto attacks or else when she tries to harass you she will take minion aggro. You don't need to stomp her before 6 just survive then stomp her.

I wish more people at my ELO knew proper wave control. So many players don't understand that if you can stomp in your lane matchup, and you have good wave clear, it can be more advantageous to freeze the wave closer to your turret. The enemy gets a couple of choices, lose CS, or risk continual ganking.

ADC is pretty hard to play. Everyone thinks it's super easy, like all you have to do is right click...which is kinda true I guess?

It's where you right-click that separates the bronze from the diamond. Right-click the ground there before you right-click the enemy champion over there. Or maybe you right click the ground that other direction and don't right-click the enemy at all.

I think it's summed up in the word "positioning."

People nowadays care too much about how many things get done but not about how many of them GET DONE RIGHT. If you dealt more damage but the decisions related to that damage ended up losing the game, then what is that damage worth in the end? What if all that damage was done because of constant focus on a tank that can take more damage rather than damage on a priority target that can take less damage? Damage numbers are often just a dick-measuring contest that people use to feel better about themselves when the KDA doesn't cut it for them.

I cant argue that at all.

Get flamed by team for not helping enough after I just help our riven jungler fight a darius, elise and then jinx 1 right after the other. I then returned to base a nd he got killed by blitzcrank who was just walking by. I was low on mana and health I would die if I stayed so fuck off and back while the backings good.

stuff like that, focusing the tank first and the adc overextending tend to make me flip my lid a little as a support because I can't save you every time you overestimate your abilities and charge forward without a thought process to escape.

Supports are great. But just because somebody mains support doesn't make them an angel. At the very least they had lvl7 on Lulu. Just because somebody plays an aggressive carry doesn't make them an asshole. Generalizations may hold true for a potential majority in the public eye. But if we judged or pardoned all individuals by generalizations the world would be even more fucked up.

Iunno, everytime somebody picks Lulu, Nami or Janna at this point I expect them to be toxic and cocky as fuck. If they pick Thresh, Blitz or Bard I expect them to shit talk the enemy team all game.

6/2/4 kda? that's good KDA, is better that 1/4/6

any way, a once deal a ton on damage and gotta that 1x5 penta as AP makoi, still, a lost the game. how? my team mate did know how to play with a AP maokai.

conclusion: brains are better that CS and KDA, is turret + inhibitor + nexus that win games, Notting else.
