Can we give Duskblade some counterplay?

I love getting beat by champions with 30 blinks as much as the next guy, but duskblade pushed zed over the edge when he was already a top competitive pick. He is literally the perfect midlaner atm (wave clear + risk free farming, manaless, multiple dashes, high dps, 1 shot combo, etc.)

Now I know you have literally a full second to counterplay his 100-0 burst (lmao) but literally you don't even have to try to assassinate people anymore. You can miss half your combo and still kill squishies because of duskblade. I even get blown up playing as a bruiser/tank by zed now because you guys love percentage damage so much (what an original mechanic right?).

Can we tweak this item a bit Riot?

New passive : "Accept your fate" - If the target enemy recipiant of Duskblade does not move (or cast spells) during the application of the debuff, the additional damage is nullified and Duskblade is put on a 30 second cooldown.

Both Zeds ultimate and this items active can be qssd, which make zed worthless. This items active is really gimmicky though I must say and it feels like a ripoff off of Zeds ultimate.

I dont know how you expect riot to add counterplay to hyperbole because that is what most of your post was. Sadly the thing riot expects you to do is by Qss or just CC him. Which we both know you wont bother doing but so long as these options exist dont expect new ones. Riot's perfectly willing to keep watching you die until you finally buy QSS.
