I went from 80 to 33, and it's really hard to even tell a difference. The biggest difference is CS'ing, because I was used to compensating for so long. I keep shooting too early now. Other than that, not much feels different about the game.

50 ping is a really big difference, having immediate reaction vs having to compensate makes it a lot easier to dodge skillshots, for example blitz and morgana q

The biggest change for me is that I'm getting a lot less packet loss now that they're based in Chicago and my data isn't taking such a shitty route anymore

my ping used to be ~120, but as soon as I switched ISPs it was 69, and never moved. I used to thing that 69 ping was amazing but now I get 25, and holy

60 isn't perfect but it's still pretty reasonable if you're not getting any packet loss, which most of us aren't now because the infrastructure in Chicago is alot better than portland

Try 100+ with packet loss for 5 years :)

MRW Going from 65 to 70 and being unable to play due to a packet loss, because of a PATCH*.

* - Had same shit whole 5.14, it stopped literally the moment the server was enabled after the patch 5.15 went live, so I'm sure it's not on my or my ISP's end. Now it's 5.16 and I have exactly the same problem.

I think its a little annoying that all the Asians are complaining hard core now because their ping went out the roof. Isn't this an NA server that was moved? NA = North America? They would have to expect a ton of lag. Maybe it's time Riot starts an Asian server of their own I think. Then they won't complain anymore. :)

They were most likely playing in NA from Asia because Portland is on the west coast of America which isn't that far from Asia.

The server moved about 2000 miles inland so it's alot farther away from them now. There's already a chinese server, Russian server, and Oceania server so that services most of eastern europe/asia I think

Then instead of complaining about the NA server being moved they should have logged in to a server on the same side of the ocean as they are. Geographically speaking.... NA might be closer, but wouldn't it make more sense to stay within your continent? lol
