can yasuo wind wall build up slowly?

I mean seriously. he has a move that negates so many ults in this game. and there is no risk to it. there is nothing yo can do about it. there is no such thing as he pulled it up late. as soon as he hits W wheather its up or not your projectile is gone. can you make it so that it takes idk. 0.5 seconds to build up? or is that such a massive nerf to yasuo that will make him unplayable. straight up 30% win rate patch 5.25.

why cant it be a channeling ability? if you hit him in that time frame. the wall doesn't build up? where is the counterplay to his windwall?. since no matter where and what angle you attack from your projectile is negated when he pulls it up.

That would be an incredibly major nerf to the ability, yeah. Probably enough to make it useless for its intended purpose.

With a .5 second delay you'd effectively be unable to block any single projectile that you seem coming at you, making the effect only useful as a zone-control tool. That would be fantastic on a support, but on a highly-reactive melee fighter/assassin like Yasuo that would be hugely detrimental.

my personal stance on this kerfuffle is decidedly neutral, although i believe it's ENTIRELY unnecessary to look up the match history and info of people you're arguing with, and kinda disrespectful to try to use that information against them.

try taking people at face value and arguing with what they're actually saying! that's just my opinion, though. it's made discussion a lot more pleasant in my experience. people don't typically respond well when you just match their negative energy.

notwithstanding everyone's extremely warranted dislike of yasuo, he's really down on his luck right now. so are similar obnoxious champs like zed and akali!

when it comes to this sort of topic, it tends to get heated, not because of any actual balance issue, but the fact that champions like these just aren't any fun to play against.
