honestly what is there left to build that scales to the late game? nothing get kog'maw to midgame besides rageblade which is why its necessary to build it on him

it just prevents him to faceroll while being tanky now you build Rageblade+Bork+AD/AP item because rageblade is the same but now to get the stats from ragebalde you need ap and ad
you can build nashor, which applies on more on hit effect and give 80 ap you can build liandry to get +10% total damage and the burn passive
all the rageblade change did was forcing you to build ap and ad instead of shit like frozen mallet and wit's end
NodirjonSattarov1 votesthe nerf to rageblade isn't the ap changes, the nerf is that you can't pre stack it on minions anymore. you can only stack it on champions. before you could stack it on minions (or get a few stacks) then continue with the fight. this is god awful because 1) you have to get it to 6 stacks during the team fight and 2) not use W until its stacked to get maximum effect.

Kaìju1 votesI like ER on Kog with a focus on the mana return. Something like ER, Hurricane, PD. It gives you 30% CDR so your W is up much more and the mana return makes using R less taxing. Not to mention it adds a lot of AD to your already AP heavy kit so getting a little AP for the last 10% CDR could work out for a more crit hybrid based build rather than one hit.
