He's getting nerfed though, Vayne and Riven aren't that's why we're complaining.

They’re reverting him back to the state he was in about two seasons ago, with a 22 second cd on his W, reverts to the Q buff and, to top it off, the current R will remain so he still isn’t going to get AD from it. That to me is a pretty drastic change, and I don’t even play Zed.

The shadow still has a longer secondary cast distance and the R is still a little different if I remember correctly.. But, the meta is quite different too. So we will see what happens. Until the entirety of mid lane is not assassins and the couple of champions that counter them, I will not be convinced of much.

Unfortunetly Riot would need to revert a ton of mage nerfs to make them competitive in midlane again. Infact the entire reason assassins took over midlane was because mages got nerfed so hard. That is also why you see mages going Support in recent years. The whole thing is a mess and I’m glad I stuck with playing enchanter supports over midlane mage...

Funny how they can nerf mages for 2 years and ADCs for almost a year and yet the few times they nerf an assassin, the outcry is instant and Riot has to hot-fix buff Yasuo or instantly buff whatever other assassin champion or bruiser they need to be overpowered this weak.
