Why so many S teir champs?

I'm not sure why riot is keeping so many S teir champs this strong like i get vayne skin coming out got to make money some way. Now the others is where I'm lost. So many champs are just too strong right now that you have to ban them or pray they don't get picked otherwise the game is more than likely over.
