How to get out of silver

I have separate accounts one of them being silver 2 and the other silver 4. I am starting to have trouble in silver 4 because of my teammates throwing every 2 or 3 games. It is like a pattern. Does anybody have any tips for me to get out of this rank? I feel like I'm being held back and want to advance to higher ranks to have fun with others with the same skill.

I mean I guess I could learn to carry harder with the leads i usually get, but regardless it is not easy.

Thanks for the replies

die less. farm the minions. participate in the team fights. be carryable.

The same way everyone else does.
Duo with a Plat+ player and get boosted out.
You will need to do the same for gold.

Even Challengers doing Unranked to Plat HAVE to Duo with other Plat+ players to get our of Silver and Gold.

Hope that 49% of your teams are bad instead of the usual 51-59%.

Play around vision. It's all you really need to do to get out of silver I think. What I mean by this is that silver players tend to make judgements about what is directly infront of them, and they have some problem solving ability to deal with what's infront of them. A malphite ult from out of vision is far more impactful than an ult from in vision. You have to think of excuses as to why they might die, and kill them that way. "Oh my god there was a malphite in that bush" "Oh his jungler was there to back him up"

You tend to lose or win in the lane though, maybe you don't know a lot of matchups or you always try to force things, and that's another thing, you can just play in a reactive kinda way and get out of SIlver if that makes sense.

Gl tho

I would say being in silver, I’m there too, get a champ pool and just learn all the ins and outs of those few champs. This helps out way more than just following the meta win rate ones because that changes so often and you don’t become as consistent. I’m determined to get out of silver this season (was bronze season 7) and think it’s possible. Also the reason why I say pick champs you are good at but also like is it’s a video game so you should be having fun.

I got out of silver by spamming jax and nasus. I gave up on jg, because id consistently get 2 lanes that'd feed. Seeing as its silver, most people cant deal with splitpushing. And mute all. Every game without fail

when will people learnt hat no matter how good you are, 30% of games are considered unwinnable, AKA you have to be a plat 2 player to win some silver 2 games. You cant win em all and you shouldnt jusge your own skill of whether you take wins or losses. Judge it based off of the impact you make on the map. There is an indirect correlation between skill and winning, so if you wanted my advice, try to further your league of legends skills. Another piece of advice is not to worry about your teammates, there is no correlation between winning and stressing over your teammates. theres nothing you can do. If you want advice on how to be a better teammate then ask, but it sounds like you want advice on bad teammates, of which there is none imo.
