Nautilus is so strong

Yeah, whether he is on bot lane or Top. He's a damn nuisance.
Also his hook hitbox is bullshit.

HES A JUNGLER. Anyways, he's been strong since mid season 5 since they changed his scaling on his shield and increased the base damage on his riptide. He's strong, but he's also in a really good spot. His damage is still negligible by popping his shield.
This is what you get for having Lee Sin in game. Every utility jungler buffed enough to barely survive him becomes disbalanced, if not in jungle than in lane.
As a Nautilus main that almost never misses a hook, I can attest to this. The skill shot indicator is a little misleading. It actually goes slightly farther. When you've put in about 100 games with him, you'll get the nuance down.
Xerath Q is similar. There's a little bit of a lip outside of the indicator where people are still damaged
Well, they were honest of his big-ass hitbox with a big-ass anchor he has there, compared to a small surface area Thresh scythe.
well he's gotta be able to do something. if he doesn't do damage he just becomes a worse version of leona. his scalings are mediocre at best, so he won't be doing crazy amounts of damage. i think he's just fine. there are better options than him in every role he can play.
Even if you gut his scalings and damage he does way more then leona in my opinion. He has far more CC and sustained damage then leo does, and has far better engage. Leona doesn't have the chance to escape when she all ins and burns her cooldowns Nautulis on the other had can ult outside of the fight, and can use his anchor as an escape, on top of that riptide and shield scaling are good enough that the enemy team has to commit a ton of resources to kill (which they should he is a tank i get that) but for the utility he has and damage output I just find that he is really strong for what he should be doing. He isn't op, but needs to be tuned down primarly with his shield scaling, riptide and fixing his Q hitbox which is honestly a frustrating joke to play against.
He's strong if you let him build damage. One of my favorite items to build on him is RoA, because it gives me everything I want but CDR, and that's solved by getting another item that all is amazing for him.
You want to beat Nautilus? You pick a high damage or high sustain champ, and you want to bully him early. Nautilus's damage and tankiness comes from his shield, which doesn't do much until he gets some health items behind it. So picking someone that can out damage the shield, or someone that can constantly fight him when it is down and not face too big of consequences is a good option.
