Only if you're poorly positioning. Rarely should a range be moving directly through minions like that and/or not have a dash to overcome it.

Melee dashes are generally targeted, so not effective as escapes, or they lack one entirely on top of the disadvantage of being melee and creep damage being a much larger factor. Melee must be in a wave to harass, generally. Ranged do not unless you're bad.

Obvious top/jg main is obvious. Lol. Yes, you do have to move through minions when you play ranged champions. A lot.

Obvious top/jg main is obvious. Lol. Yes, you do have to move through minions when you play ranged champions. A lot.

Obvious AD main is obvious. Lol. You have to move through minions when you play melee champions. A lot more.

Melee are often about how you engage. Its harder to move through a minion wave to get that engage, and makes it all the worse if you don't have an escape. ADCs are about how you position. Its much easier to move away from a minion wave when you're already behind it. Alternatively, its easier to keep aggression when you can still attack while moving around the wave. Yes, the new creep block is still harder for ranged than before, but its much worse for melee, especially against a lane bully of any kind.

Seems like you're taking your free safe farming for granted.

However, in LoL I don't believe turn speed is the answer for ranged. The new creep block is a huge setback for melee compared to ranged, but I'm sure Riot will compensate melee, or, inversely, ranged for their safety, in due time.
