So, since Gnar's "weakness" is that he can't be ranged all the time

Does that mean that Riot technically admits to melee=sh*t in this game?

And it's not even a weakness, since he keeps the extra health,so it practically gives him sustain as well.

Pretty sure the added health staying on Mini Gnar is a bug.

No, melee isn't weak. His melee form, from what I see, is really slow and clunky. His ranged form is mobile as hell.

whats the complaint about the extra health being kept nasus and renekton both keep their health they get from transforming plus gnar's play style seems pretty good it's a high mobility poke champ at the start and after all that poking he gets the ability to lock down the kill it pretty much just teaches players to poke before they go all in

I'd say losing your spammy ranged ability and all your mobility is a pretty large weakness if you're not in a position where it's useful. That doesn't make melee weak (A lot of our most powerful Champions are melee), it makes a near-uncontrollable kit change a pretty disruptive mechanic safety-wise.
