3v3 Ranked flex: how can I counter this strategy?
Hi, I'm playing my 3v3 ranked placements in preparation for next season and the new Clash mode. Right now I have 8 victories and 1 defeat, which happened against a very interesting team.
They had 
bot, 
jungle AND top and 
playing as Xin's support. It was very similar to the infamous Chinese duo boosting strat: both Xin and Thresh started with a support item (
for the former, 
for the latter) and proceded to farm the jungle, then the top side lane minions.
Since I knew that Xin was going to get gold and xp and a much higher rate than me, I thought that the best course of action was to put Xerath behind as much as possible. I ganked bot and actually managed to kill him twice during the early game, but then my own bot laner got caught a couple of times and died to Xin, so he started snowballing and eventually outscaled us.
What should I have done to win that game? Is there any strategy that can counter the one adopted by the enemy team?
