Ideas for Clarity and Clairvoyance
I think that currently, Clarity and Clairvoyance are the least used summoners mostly because of their lack of usefulness in game. Clarity is currently a Summoner spell for new players who are too aggressive using their mana pools. I think, however, that this is bad in two ways: first, it does absolutely nothing for resource-less champions; second, while it may help new players early on, it allows bad habits like over-spamming spells to exist. Clairvoyance is a spell that allows you to see an enemy in a targeted location, mostly, if ever, used by champions with sniping abilities such as Lux, Xerath, etc. However, for the most part, this ability is unused because you can pick up a free trinket in Scrying Orb that does the same thing on a lower cooldown, albeit with lesser range and area reveal. I propose a redefining of what these abilities do. Clarity, in my opinion, is about being able to understand what is happening around you and being able to diagnose the correct action. How I envision this playing out in game is simple: it will reduce cooldowns of non-ultimate abilities by 50% of their full cooldowns, and the next non-ultimate ability will be free of cost. The percentage could be shifted around to be balanced, but I think that this version of Clarity would be well used by many champions. On the other hand, I feel that there is something to be said about the usefulness of vision when it comes to Clairvoyance. Clairvoyance, as a spell, is, to me, a spell of not showing you the location, but rather a spell that shows you the path to the destination as well. Thus, I think Clairvoyance should be an ability that reveals the path to a location, using the movement pathing algorithms, for a set amount of time, and also reveals all invisible traps in that area.
